  2. Gener8.xlm 1.2 for Microsoft Excel versions 4 and 5

  4. Generate Great Amortization Schedules                                                   
  5.                             
  6. This Microsoft Excel macro application will generate great 
  7. fixed rate and variable rate loan schedules.  It allows for 
  8. variable interest rates and extra principal payments. For 
  9. "variable rate loans, it can project a worst-case interest 
  10. rate change based on the loan's" maximum rate and maximum 
  11. increase per adjustment period.  It allows all components
  12. of the monthly payment (insurance, taxes, etc...) to be 
  13. changed at any point in the loan."  The amortization 
  14. schedules show annual totals for interest and principal 
  15. paid and show graphically how the interest and principal 
  16. vary over the life of the loan. Generated spreadsheets are 
  17. complete and functional but not customizable without the 
  18. password provided through registration ($10).

  20. How to use Gener8.xlm:                                                  
  21.                             
  22. Gener8.xlm is a Microsoft Excel macro that runs 
  23. automatically when opened by Excel.  Gener8.xlm can also 
  24. be re-started during the same Excel session by pressing 
  25. Ctrl-Shift-A.                                                   
  26.                             
  27. When you start Gener8.xlm, you will see an introductory 
  28. screen.  Select "Generate a Schedule" to go on to the 
  29. input screen.  The input screen is used to provide basic
  30. information about the loan (length, rate, etc...).  Please 
  31. note that you can not enter any data into the variable 
  32. rate related fields unless you select the variable rate 
  33. option. When you have all fields completed and select "OK"
  34. the macro will generate a loan schedule and a graph based 
  35. on the information provided.

  37. Gener8.xlm is functional in it distributed shareware form.
  38. If you would like to have greater control over the 
  39. spreadsheets that it generates, you will need to register
  40. the product.  There are 3 levels of registration available:
  41.                             
  42. Level 1: $10.00   You will receive the password and 
  43.     instructions for unprotecting the generated 
  44.     spreadsheets.  If you are going to generate a few 
  45.     schedules but still need to change their appearance, 
  46.     this is the best way to go.
  47.                             
  48. Level 2: $20.00   You will receive the commercial (non-
  49.     shareware) version of this product.  The commercial 
  50.     version generates unprotected spreadsheets and does 
  51.     not have an opening shareware notice.  For this level 
  52.     of registration the macro source code is still 
  53.     password protected.  If you are going to generate a 
  54.     lot of schedules and the format of the schedules 
  55.     closely matches your business needs, this is the best 
  56.     way to go.

  58. Level 3: $50.00   You will receive the commercial (non-
  59.     shareware) version of this product without password 
  60.     protection on the macro itself.  This will allow you 
  61.     to have complete control over how the spreadsheets are 
  62.     generated.  You will be able to modify the macro source 
  63.     code to customize the generated spreadsheets for your 
  64.     business.  If you need to generate a lot of schedules 
  65.     and you need them customized for your business, this is 
  66.     the best way to go.
